Paired with an Intermec RFIDeploy^SM Site Analysis is an RFIDeploy Site Installation. The site installation is critical because it "locks down" the RFID technology according to methods recommended during the site analysis, but only if the devices as installed work effectively in support of the criteria for successful system performance as proposed by a pre-site examination process analysis. If it is true that the devices, even when attached or installed according to specifications do not perform as expected, then some adjustments will have to be made to the site analysis recommendations, if not to those of any process analysis or business case which may have been developed for the project. On the other hand, if the technology does perform to or beyond expectations when installed, an Intermec RFIDeploy Site Installation provides certified sign-off of the system to the customer at those specified performance levels. And if an RFIDeploy Process Analysis and Site Analysis have also been performed or authorized by Intermec Global Services, the system qualifies for Intermec's 18-month performance guarantee.

Performance Guarantee

When it comes to RFID technology implementation, Intermec offers two important distinctions:

• We not only design and manufacture RFID devices, we also provide the essential consulting, technical and selected software services to make it all work effectively.
• We also offer a written, eighteen-month guarantee for systems performance.

That's right: When the three pre-business-case RFIDeploy services (Process Analysis, Site Analysis and Site Installation) are performed or authorized by Intermec Global Services, the performance of the customer's RFID technology system is guaranteed to meet or exceed the criteria for success as established during the implementation process, for 18 months after system go-live.
